Where to Watch the 2026 'Jeopardy! Masters' Tournament Online

August 25, 2026 · Rolling Stone

The biggest Jeopardy! champions are back to compete for $500,000 in a special multi-week tournament on ABC and Hulu.

Jeopardy! Masters is back for its fourth season, and it is bigger than ever. Host Ken Jennings returns to lead the tournament, where the best current champions compete for a prize of $500,000. Six players — Yogesh Raut, Juveria Zaheer, Victoria Groce, Andrew He, Paolo Pasco, and Long Nguyen — will battle it out over several weeks on ABC starting August 25.

The tournament works differently from the regular Jeopardy! show. Instead of the usual 30-minute episodes, Jeopardy! Masters has nine episodes that are each one hour long, airing at 8 p.m. on ABC. The scoring system is similar to soccer: the winner of each episode earns three points, second place earns one point, and third place earns zero points. The top four players after the early rounds will move on to the semifinals, and then three players will face off in a one-episode final.

If you want to watch the tournament live, tune in to ABC at 8 p.m. on the scheduled nights. If you miss it, you can stream each episode the very next day on Hulu. You can also watch ABC live through streaming services like DirecTV, Fubo, or Hulu + Live TV, so you do not need a traditional cable subscription to catch the action.

The tournament schedule is spread across three weeks. The first four episodes air Tuesday through Friday, August 25–28, and the next four air September 1–4. The big finale airs on Tuesday, September 8, giving fans plenty of time to follow their favorite players.

Past winners of Jeopardy! Masters include James Holzhauer, who is known for taking bold risks with his bets, as well as Victoria Groce and Yogesh Raut. Raut is especially exciting to watch this year because he is trying to win the title two times in a row. His success last year makes him one of the players to watch closely in this tournament.

After the Masters tournament ends, the regular season of Jeopardy! will return on September 14. The show has also inspired several spin-offs, including ESPN Jeopardy! hosted by Joe Buck and Pop Culture Jeopardy! hosted by Colin Jost. ESPN Jeopardy! streams on Disney+ and Hulu, while Pop Culture Jeopardy! is on Netflix.

Host Ken Jennings has spoken about why Jeopardy! brings so many different people together. He told Rolling Stone, 'Jeopardy! is a weirdly unifying thing — young people, old people, red states, blue states — it's an institution that has this universal acceptance.' It is clear that the show means a lot to fans all across the country, and Jeopardy! Masters gives those fans one of the most exciting versions of the game to enjoy.
