New TV Shows This Week: A 'King of the Hill' Return, a 'Big Bang Theory' Spinoff, and More

The animated comedy 'King of the Hill' is back with its 15th season on Hulu. The show originally ended in 2009, but returned last year after a 16-year break. Creator Mike Judge and actress Kathy Najimy are back as the voices of Hank and Peggy Hill. Pamela Adlon also returns, now voicing Bobby Hill as a grown adult. During the years the show was off the air, Adlon created and starred in her own Emmy-winning TV series called 'Better Things.'

Reality TV is also getting a new chapter this week. 'The Real Housewives of London' premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. on both Bravo and Peacock. The show already aired in the United Kingdom and is now coming to American audiences. It follows the same format as other 'Real Housewives' shows but is set in England's famous capital city.

Space fans have something to look forward to on Thursday. 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' returns for its fourth season on Paramount+. The show stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, with Paul Wesley playing a young James T. Kirk and Ethan Peck as Spock. This will be the second-to-last season of the series, since the fifth season has already been confirmed as the final one.

Also arriving Thursday is a brand-new spinoff of 'The Big Bang Theory' called 'Stuart Fails to Save the Universe' on HBO Max. Unlike the other 'Big Bang Theory' spinoffs, this one has actual science fiction in it. Stuart, the comic book shop owner from the original show and played by Kevin Sussman, travels through the multiverse. Other familiar characters from the original series, including Denise, Bert Kibbler, and Barry Kripke, also appear in the new show.

Saturday brings an exciting movie for fans of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender.' A full-length animated film called 'Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender' premieres on Paramount+. In the movie, Aang is now an adult and discovers he is no longer the only Airbender in the world. Actor Eric Nam voices Aang, while 'Walking Dead' and 'Minari' star Steven Yeun voices Zuko, Aang's former rival. Fans of the CBS sitcom 'Ghosts' may also recognize Román Zaragoza, who plays Sasappis on that show, as the voice of Sokka.
