Singapore to Bali: A Luxury Cruise Through South-East Asia
A 12-night cruise takes travelers from Singapore's glowing gardens through Hindu temples, tropical beaches, and ancient monuments all the way to Bali.
Imagine starting your vacation in the buzzing city of Singapore, then sailing through some of the most beautiful places in South-East Asia. That is exactly what a 12-night holiday package from My Cruises offers. The trip visits countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, and ends on the tropical island of Bali. Travelers spend two nights in a Singapore hotel before boarding a luxury cruise ship for 10 nights at sea.
The cruise ship is called the Seven Seas Mariner, and it carries up to 704 guests. Each guest stays in a suite with floor-to-ceiling windows, a marble bathroom, and a private balcony with ocean views. The minibar is restocked every day based on what you like, and you can order food to your room at any hour. On board, guests can choose from four restaurants, a pool deck, a putting green, paddle tennis, and a library.
Before boarding the ship, guests spend two days exploring Singapore. One must-see spot is Gardens by the Bay, where giant tree-like structures called Supertrees rise up to 50 metres tall. More than 162,900 plants, including orchids and ferns, grow on the outside of these structures. Every night, 12 of the Supertrees light up in a free show called Garden Rhapsody. Visitors can also walk a sky bridge 22 metres above the ground, explore the colorful streets of Little India, and shop along Orchard Road.
The ship's first stop is Port Klang, which is close to Malaysia's capital city, Kuala Lumpur. There, travelers can visit Batu Caves, where a giant golden statue of the Hindu god Lord Murugan stands 43 metres tall at the bottom of 272 brightly painted steps. The steps lead up to ancient Hindu shrines inside limestone caves. Back in Kuala Lumpur, visitors can also see the famous Petronas Towers and the colorful Thean Hou Temple.
Next, the ship sails to Langkawi, a group of islands with beaches, caves, and waterfalls. The water is so clear that snorkeling is a popular activity there. After Langkawi, the ship heads to Penang, where the historic area of George Town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. George Town's streets are lined with old shophouses and townhouses that were shaped by hundreds of years of trade from many different cultures.
The second half of the voyage takes place along the island of Java in Indonesia. In the capital city, Jakarta, travelers can visit a large mosque, walk through Dutch colonial buildings, explore a street food market, or ride to the top of the National Monument for a view of the whole city. From the port of Semarang, guests can take a tour to Borobudur, one of the world's greatest Buddhist temples, and the Hindu temple complex of Prambanan. Both sites are listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.
The next stop is Surabaya, a city known for its canals and old colonial buildings. Then the ship arrives at Benoa, the port of Bali, on the 12th day of the journey. The ship stays overnight, giving travelers a chance to visit a Balinese temple or relax at a beach club before flying home. All tours at each port are included in the price of the trip. The package also includes flights, meals, drinks, Wi-Fi, laundry service, and tips for the crew.
It's your night, fill it with colour.
