Rob Gronkowski Talks Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's 'Poppin'' Wedding

Retired NFL star Rob Gronkowski is giving fans a peek inside Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding. The superstar couple got married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Gronkowski, who attended the event, talked about it on a new episode of his Tubi show "The Other Football," which came out on July 8.

Gronkowski told his co-host, former NFL quarterback Jameis Winston, that the scene outside Madison Square Garden was unlike anything he had seen before. There were so many black cars lined up that they stretched five blocks down the street. While he waited to be dropped off, he passed the time by watching a World Cup soccer match between Argentina and Cape Verde. He said the exciting game got him pumped up and ready for the big celebration ahead.

Once inside, Gronkowski said the wedding was truly special. "It was top-notch," he said. "Hats off to Taylor and Trav. And the dancefloor, that's the one thing. It was poppin', Jameis." He made it clear the party lived up to all the hype surrounding it.

Kelce and Swift's wedding was a major event with a long guest list of famous faces. NFL stars like Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and coach Andy Reid were there to support Kelce. Swift's musical friends and collaborators, including Ed Sheeran, Jack Antonoff, and Zoë Kravitz, were also in attendance. The wedding party itself was kept small, with only their brothers — Jason Kelce and Austin Swift — by their sides.

Both the bride and groom wore outfits designed by Christian Dior Haute Couture, a very high-end fashion brand. The ceremony was officiated, or led, by actor Adam Sandler. No official photos from the wedding have been released, so fans have been sharing unconfirmed pictures and guessing about the details of the big day.

Gronkowski also admitted that going to such a fancy wedding created some pressure for him and his girlfriend, Camille Kostek. The two have been together for more than ten years. He joked that a wedding makes everyone around you start asking when you plan to get married, especially when your partner is right next to you. "There's a lot of encouragement; there's no doubt about that, Jameis," he said with a laugh.

Gronkowski and Kelce also have a history on the football field. Gronkowski's Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs 31–9 in the Super Bowl back in 2021. Even so, the two stayed friends after that game, and Gronkowski clearly has nothing but good things to say about Kelce and his new wife.
