Art Show Shines a Light on Dental Health Struggles for Women in the Sex Industry

A special art exhibition in Liverpool, England, is drawing attention to a serious problem: many women who work in the sex industry struggle to get basic dental care. The project, called "If My Mouth Had a Voice...," was created by researchers at the University of Liverpool. It used artwork and illustrations to share the real experiences of these women. The exhibition is not finished yet — it will travel to dental schools across England in late 2026 and early 2027.
