Adam Ramsay-Peaty Says He Is 'At Peace With Myself' After Bronze Medal Finish

He added that he knows his own values and morals, and that he can look in the mirror and feel good about himself.

He also tried to keep the race result in perspective. He said the event is just about swimming two lengths of a pool as fast as you can. He called his problem in the race a simple one that he could fix. His positive attitude showed he is not ready to give up on his goals.

Outside of the pool, Ramsay-Peaty spoke warmly about his family. He said his wife Holly, who is expecting their first child together, is a big part of his support system. He also has a five-year-old son named George. He said fatherhood is 'an incredible gift' and that he wants to be known as a great father and husband, not just a great swimmer.

Holly is the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Last year, the couple got married at a big wedding, but Adam's parents, Mark and Caroline, were not there. Caroline also missed Holly's hen party, which was attended by guests like Tana Ramsay and Victoria Beckham. Their absence drew a lot of media attention and raised questions about a family feud.

After the Commonwealth Games, Ramsay-Peaty hinted at the family tension in a TV interview. He said he knows how hard he has worked and that he has been through difficult things that were not his fault. He said all of this has taken a toll on him. His words suggested the conflict with his parents has been very hard to deal with.

His mother, Caroline, responded by posting on Instagram. She wrote that someone or something is trying to destroy their family. She said she and her husband still love Adam and support him from a distance. She also said all the time and sacrifices they made for him were given freely out of love, with no expectation of reward.

Caroline ended her post by saying the family is strong and has moved past the lies she says have been told about them.
